Is there a best time of the day to take my gumi?

You can take gumi supplements any time of day. While it is not necessary to take them with a meal, many nutrients are best absorbed and utilised when they are ingested with food.

What kind of gelatin is used in gumi?

We use bovine gelatin in the manufacturing of all our products.

Are gumi’s suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans?

Due to the inclusion of bovine gelatin, our products are not currently suitable for Vegetarians or Vegans – we’re working hard with our manufacturer to resolve this as soon as possible.

Is there any wheat or gluten in the products?

We formulate all of our products without wheat or wheat-derivatives. All gumi products are gluten and lactose free.

Are any artificial colours or preservatives used?

No. None of our products contain artificial colours, artificial flavourings, or preservatives.

What if my child eats more than the recommended serving size of gummies?
While most vitamins are easily eliminated from the body without causing any side effects, high doses of fat-soluble nutrients such as vitamins D and A are stored by the body.  Excessive consumption may cause laxative effects and we recommend you contact your child’s doctor if you are concerned.

Can I give my kids multiple products from the gumi junior line?

Yes- Absolutely! Our junior products are formulated to be used in combination with one another.

Can I take more than the recommended amount of gumi’s?

We know how good they taste, but we do not recommend exceeding the recommended serving size. Each product was formulated by nutritional experts to deliver an effective dose of active ingredients that address daily needs and promote optimum health.

What kinds of sweeteners are used for the gummies?

We use Maltitol as the sweetener in all our products.  It’s a sugar alcohol (though it does not contain actual alcohol this refers to its chemical structure).

Can I still take gumi’s if I’m pregnant or breastfeeeding?

The Women’s and Men’s multivit both contain Vitamin A so we advise not taking these if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or likely to become pregnant, except on the advice of your doctor or antenatal clinic.

Can I take gumi’s if I’m on medication?

If you have a medical condition or are on medication please seek the advise of a qualified healthcare professional before using.

Are the lids of the gummy bottles child resistant?

Yes. Our bottles are safety sealed with a child resistant cap and inner freshness seal.  Dietary supplements should always be placed out of reach and sight of children.

Are gumi bottles recyclable?

Absolutely! All of our components can be recycled.

How should I store my gumi’s?

We recommend you keep your gumi’s in a cool, dry place at room temperature. It is also important to keep them away from direct sunlight and other sources of heat as gummies will melt upon exposure to high temperatures.

How long are gumi products good for?

Gumi products expire 24 months from the date at which they were manufactured, which is clearly labelled on the bottle.  Vitamins and minerals naturally break down over time. Therefore, while the products are still active and safe to take, we do not guarantee their potency.
